What you'll learn in this course

Who is it for?

This course is designed for those who are beginning to learn Thai and need practice in writing/reading. Similar to how children learning any language need to write and identify letters before reading fluently. It's also useful for those who already have some knowledge of Thai and want to refine their writing and pronunciation.

The best way to learn Thai is by starting with reading and writing. This is how I've taught all my students, and I've observed that once they master Thai writing and reading, their learning improves exponentially.

In this course, we'll cover the fundamentals of each consonant and vowel group, their pronunciation, and the correct way to write them. We'll learn to write in Thai on mobile devices, useful phrases with each letter, and, most importantly, we'll practice a lot of Thai writing and reading!

Why Learn Thai Here?

The Values That Drive Me

Having lived in various countries—Thailand, Japan, China, and now Spain—I've immersed myself in each local language. This firsthand experience has taught me the challenges of language learning.

Over the years, I've discovered effective learning strategies, which I've applied while teaching Thai to my students. This has resulted in a system that optimizes resources, significantly reducing learning time at a reasonable cost.

Finding the right teacher from the start is crucial, especially for Thai, where a solid foundation is paramount. Language learning demands inspiration and motivation—qualities I aim to instill in my students.

The Best Way to Practice Thai

Pin Phayubut

Author and teacher

Hello! I'm Pin. My goal is to simply make an impact and help others enjoy Thailand, fostering better connections with the place, its people, and family, while developing each person's interests. Language learning should be fun and motivating.

I've lived in Osaka (Japan) for nearly 10 years, of course in Bangkok (Thailand), in Shanghai (China) for 3 years, and now I'm in Madrid (Spain) in my fourth year. Throughout, I've always enjoyed teaching Thai to diverse learners.

I love studying languages and understanding cultural differences. Living and working in various countries has been invaluable. Sharing good advice and navigating new countries are my favorite parts!

I believe the magic starts when you can converse with locals.
